About the procedure

Hair removal from under the nose – suitable for everyone

Although the majority of those interested in this procedure are women, there are also some men who are seeking permanent hair removal and a youthful, clean-shaven appearance without the need for constant shaving. The procedure is suitable for both sexes and all age groups, provided you do not suffer from any of the contraindications listed below.

The problem known as chin hair. There are many causes, but only one solution

This solution is our laser, which is virtually unrivalled in terms of effectiveness by any other current hair removal method. The laser, which combines two wavelengths, is capable of permanently removing even lighter-coloured hairs, which are known for their resistance to standard laser pulses.

The hair is completely removed by the laser right down to the root. However, the entire treatment must be spread over several separate sessions. This is because only hairs in the active growth phase can be removed at any one time, which at any given moment accounts for approximately one-fifth of the total. A further treatment after 4–10 weeks will then remove another portion of the hair, and so on. In total, around six sessions are required to completely remove the hair from the area in question.

Recommendations and contraindications before hair removal

You should not pluck the hairs yourself before the treatment. Shaving and trimming them is not only possible but is actually recommended immediately before the treatment. We also recommend avoiding direct sunbathing or using a sunbed for roughly two weeks both before and after the hair removal treatment itself. Visits to saunas or swimming pools are also not recommended after the treatment – again, for approximately two weeks.

In addition to these general recommendations, it is also important to be aware of the contraindications associated with laser hair removal of the chin and other areas. The treatment is not recommended if:

you are pregnant or breastfeeding,
you suffer from certain types of allergies,
you have an autoimmune disease,
you have inflammation or an infection at the treatment site,
you have cancer or a tumour,
you have epilepsy,
you have a pacemaker.
